Rolex Turn‑O‑Graph, a model made by Rolex that was one of the brand’s first watches with a rotating timing bezel (introduced in the 1950s). It’s sometimes nicknamed the “Thunderbird” in later versions.
 

 

 

    Condition:

    • The case and bezel show heavy wear and pitting, which makes it harder to confirm details.

    Possible explanations 

    Signs of wear 

     

    • Cyclops date window at 3 o’clock 

    • Oyster bracelet 

    • “Oyster Perpetual Date” text (some Turn-O-Graph models used this base dial format)

    • Blue sunburst dial – a style seen on later vintage pieces.

    •  

    • Bezel:
      A Turn-O-Graph normally has a rotating bezel with minute markers (0–60).
       

    • Dial
      Most classic Turn-O-Graph models say “Datejust” or “Turn-O-Graph” on the dial.
      Yours reads “Oyster Perpetual Date.”
